Janet Roman

Janet F. Roman, age 82, of Brainerd, passed away on March 16, 2022 at her home. Services for Janet will be held on Saturday March 26, 2022 at 11:00am at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter. There will be a visitation at 10:00am.

Janet is survived by her Children Diana, Kelly Peterson (Brett), Amy James (Hugh), Chuck, Granddaughters Erin and  Emma Peterson, and Nicole Roman. Many nieces, nephews, and good friends. Janet loved spending time with her family. Janet rarely missed an opportunity to cheer her granddaughters on, watching softball games, school concerts, and theater performances. Janet loved spending time playing canasta with her niece Colleen Ostlund. Janet worked for the Public Schools and City of Minneapolis and retired after 27 years. Janet had many lifelong friends who gathered at the Cabin for weekend fun and vacations.   Mom was a natural cheerleader; she let you know she loved you and was always glad you came. Janet is preceded in death by her husband Chuck and Sister Emily Ostlund. Parents Harry and Leona Carlson.
