Janelle Webster

Janelle Webster, 43, of Moorhead, MN lost her courageous battle with cancer Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Services for Janelle will be at 11:00AM, Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Motley Free Methodist Church in Motley, with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8PM, Monday, July 31 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at St. James Cemetery in Philbrook.

Janelle was born January 31, 1974 in Moorhead, MN to George and Eleanor (Smith) Webster. She graduated from Staples High School in 1992, and completed business management and marketing training at Moorhead Technical School. Janelle worked for Wal-Mart as a Field Project Supervisor in Store Planning. She traveled all over the United States for her job, as well as for pleasure when she had time off. Even though Janelle never had any biological children, it was as though each of her nieces and nephews as well as the numerous grand nieces and grand nephews was one of her own. Auntie Nell contributed greatly into each life she touched. She volunteered her time at the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, the local food pantry, and the Giving Tree at Christmas. Janelle enjoyed shopping, especially for others, and many were grateful for her selfless giving. Most important to Janelle, was her family.

Janelle is survived by her mother, Eleanor of Philbrook; siblings, Karen (Garry) Carpenter of Staples, Leland “Butch” Webster of Philbrook, Linda (Lloyd) Stoll of Glyndon, George Webster of Fargo, ND, Susie (Mark) Ecklund of Glyndon, Duane (Shannon) Webster of Puyallup, WA; many nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; and her Wal-Mart family. She was preceded in death by her father, George; and her grandparents. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
