James White

James E. White, age 71, of St. Paul, and formerly Hackensack, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011. He was born to Frank and Irene (Radue) White in Wahpeton, ND, on September 28, 1939. Jim grew up in Finley, ND, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1958 to 1962. He spent most of his adult life in Hackensack and St. Paul and was an over the road truck driver for many years, then worked at Holiday before retiring.

Jim is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janet; children: Shelly Brown (Tim) of St. Paul, Tim White of Hackensack, James White (Deanne) of St. Paul Park, Kelly White (Dave) of Maplewood; grandchildren: Brandon, Chad, Nicholas, Heather, Tyler, and Emersyn; great grandchildren: Kayden, Karsyn, and Makenzie; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Jeanne and Shirley, and nephew, Ricky.

Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, September 24, at Union Congregational Church, Hackensack, with Pastor Michael Small officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
