James Tostenson

James Tostenson, age 77, of Backus, passed away Monday, July 26, 2010, at his home. He was born August 20, 1932, in Montevideo, MN, to Clarence and Mary Tostenson. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served overseas in North Africa.

James is survived by his son, Bradly Tostenson (Renee) of Rockford, MN; daughters: Kim Seim (Brian) of Maple Grove, Jenni Dent (Steve) of Minneapolis; brothers: David Tostenson of Andover, Ronnie Tostenson of Minneapolis; sister, Carol Peterson of Green Lake; ten grandchildren and one great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rosemary; sons, Scott and Brian; daughter, Susan Gard; grandson, Matthew Betland; brothers, Jerry, Larry, Michael; sister, Betty Ann.

Services will be 10:30 AM on Friday, July 30, at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 7300 42nd Ave. North, New Hope. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial 12: 15 PM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
