James Stahl

James "Jim" Allen Stahl, 72, of Brainerd, MN, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 13, 2015. No services are planned at this time.

Jim was born May 23, 1943 to Otto and Ruth (Haberle) Stahl in Bemidji, MN. He grew up and went to school in the Bemidji area. Jim served in the US Army in Germany for four years. On May 1, 1971, Jim was united in marriage to Kathy Heapy in Brainerd, MN. They lived in McAllen, TX, where Jim worked as a body shop manager. He retired at age 62, and he and Kathy returned back to Brainerd three years ago. Jim enjoyed golf, re doing homes and had a handyman business following his retirement.

Jim is survived by his wife, Kathy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Ruth; two brothers; and three sisters. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel.
