James Skarolid

James Skarolid, age 69, of Brainerd passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the home of his companion and friend in Randall. Memorial services will be Sunday, July 13, from 2-4 pm, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.

James Harold Skarolid was born February 11, 1939 in Brainerd, to Harold and Myrtle (Lawson) Skarolid. He was a lifetime resident of Brainerd. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting antiques.

James is survived by a son, Troy (Karen) Skarolid, of Baxter; two grandchildren, Zachary and Jordan; two nephews; and his special friend, LaVonne Robinson. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, William. Arrangements entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
