James Griebling

James "Tom" Griebling, age 73, of Pequot Lakes, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014. He was born to James and Wilma Griebling on Feb. 15, 1941, in Dodge Center, IA. Tom was a 28 year veteran of the military including service in the Air Force, Army and later, in the National Guard. He was a police officer in Hastings, MN. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and loved the Lord.

Tom is survived by his wife, Phyllis, of Pequot Lakes; son, William Griebling (Rachael) of Red Wing; brother, Dr. Tomas L. Griebling; sister, Jana Root (Dennis); and 5 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one grandson.

Services will be 11 AM on Thursday, July 10, at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
