James Ginter

James "Jim" Ginter, 82, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Good Samaritan Society- Bethany in Brainerd, MN. A Celebration of Life for Jim will be 1:00PM, Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Good Samaritan Village-Chapel. Visitation will be held from 12:30PM to the time of services. Interment will be 12:00PM, Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Holy Cross Church Cemetery in North Prairie, MN.

Jim was born July 31, 1933 in North Prairie, MN to the late Walter and Rose (Piotrowski) Ginter. He lived most of his life in Minneapolis and retired from the telephone company. Jim had a great sense of humor and had a love for animals. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile!

Jim is survived by two sisters, Judy (Frank) DeZurik of Emily, Beverly Nouis of Little Falls; sister-in-law, LaVerne Ginter of Brooklyn Park; brother Ralph of Bloomington; brother-in-law, Earl Prator, of Phoenix, AZ; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Emily (Merle) Jerde, George Ginter, Louie (Dorothy) Ginter, Carl (June) Ginter, Edward (Alice) Ginter, Rosemarie Ginter, Duane (Jeannine) Ginter, Jeanette (Hank) Brokob, Claudette Prator; brother-in-law, LeRoy Nouis; nephews, Wayne Nouis, Bruce Aleshire and Eddy Ginter, Jr.
