James Bourassa

James Cyril Bourassa, 79, of Brainerd, died Thursday, August 29, 2013 of Leukemia.
Services will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with Father George Zeck officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather starting at 4 PM Thursday. There will be a private interment at 10AM, Friday, September 6 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

Jim was born July 29, 1934 in Brainerd, the son of George and Helen Bourassa. He married Frances Mary Pickar on June 19, 1954. Jim worked at Potlatch for over a quarter of a century and loved ice fishing, auto-racing, wrestling and playing cards with family.

He is survived by his wife, Frances; children, Jim, of Coon Rapids, Diane (David) DeVere, of Brainerd, Sandra (Steve) Sandberg, of Lakeville, Gary (Cathy), of Brainerd, Dan (Dianne), of Pillager, Kathy (Joe) Gleason, of Roseville, Dale (Lori), of Brainerd, and Ben, of Fort Ripley; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
