James Ahlgrim

James Ahlgrim, age 76, of Brainerd died Friday, April 07, 2006 at St. Cloud Hospital. Memorial services will be Friday, April 14, at 1 pm, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Friends may visit during the half-hour prior to services. Interment will be at a later date, at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Camp Ripley.
James Floyd Ahlgrim was born July 8, 1929 in Brainerd, to Floyd and Agnes (Wollt) Ahlgrim. He grew up and attended school in Brainerd. He served his country in the Army. Following his honorable discharge he worked for the railroad for more than 40 years. He was united in marriage to Barbara (Manske) in Brainerd. Barbara passed away seven years ago. James belonged to the VFW and the Eagles Club for over 25 years. He enjoyed antiques, and was an old car enthusiast.

James is survived by his sons, Theodore TedAhlgrim, Brainerd and Thomas (Laurie) Ahlgrim, Breezy Point; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. His parents and his wife preceded him in death.
