Jack Lerew

April 14, 1933 — May 5, 2008

Jack Lerew, 75, of Aitkin, passed away May 5, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. Memorials services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, May 9, 2008 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Interment will take place at a later date at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.
Wilford John JackLerew was born April 14, 1933 the son of John and Marie (Faurot) Lerew. Jack was the proud owner of Northside Welding Company on West Broadway from 1960-1990. He was a Navy Veteran that served his county during the Korean War. In 1966, Jack was united in marriage to Dyanne Buckingham. He had a love for family, friends, a hard days work, good conversation, good humor, nature, antiques, and a special love for his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Jeff and Jerry Lerew; his brother, Wayne Lerew; and his father, John.

He is survived by his mother, Marie Lerew; his wife, Dyanne Lerew; his daughter, Jackie Christopherson; his son-in-law, Todd Christopherson; his grandson, Chris (Tina) Christopherson; his great-grandchildren, Jakob, Joshua, Evan, and Kortney; his faithful companion, Johnny; his siblings, Eva (Lloyd) Keehr and Judy Waldecker; his nieces and nephews, Anita Waldecker, Elaine Keehr, Bev Tretter, Steve Keehr, Barb Keehr; and his step-daughter, Sandra White.
