Irvin Rubitschung

Irvin Wayne Rubitschung, age 74, of Pine River, passed away Friday, February 24, 2012, at his home. He was born in Springfield, MN, to Irvin and Bernice Rubitschung on February 27, 1937.

Irvin is survived by his wife, Fidelia; children: Gail Schriber of Pine River, Lynn Orth of Backus, Sheila Schultes of Brainerd, Lee Rubitschung of Pine River, Cliff Rubitschung of Jackson, MN; stepdaughter, Violet Odegard of Backus; brothers: Oral Rubitschung of Hackensack, Neal Rubitschung of Londonderry, OH, Keith Gronquist of Oglive, MN, and Leo Gronquist of Tell City, IN; sister, Cleo Kinnunen of Pine River; 12 grandchildren; 4 stepgrandchildren; 2 great grandsons; 11 step-great grandchildren; one great-great step- grandson; daughter-in-law, Kris Rubitschung; many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dean; and son, Eric.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.

Services will be 11 AM on Tuesday, February 28, at Pequot Lakes Baptist Church, with Pastor Mark Whittemore officiating. Burial will be in Norwood Cemetery, rural Pine River. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and one hour prior to services at the church.
