Irene was born January 24, 1921, in Crow Wing County (Timothy Township), MN, to Francis Leroy White and Anna Elaine Heath. While growing up, Irene loved doing any outdoor activity such has camping, fishing, snowmobiling and enjoyed sitting by campfires with family and friends. She fell in love and married Henry Listrom who passed away in 1976. Irene remarried years later to Oliver Olson where they lived in Barrett, MN during the summer months and became “snowbirds” in Mesa, Arizona. While in AZ, she enjoyed making arts and crafts, but her specialty was making clocks out of rocks she hand-picked from nearby mountains. After Oliver’s death in 1997, Irene resided in Arizona until moving back to Minnesota in 2015.

Over the past 6 years, Irene spent a great deal of time reconnecting with her family and one of her most favorite memories was a family vacation to Florida with her grandchildren where she got the opportunity to swim with a dolphin. Irene was truly loved by her family and many friends, and she will be sorely missed and forever remembered.
