Irene Dobis

Irene Mary Dobis, 90, of Little Falls, MN died on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Little Falls Care Center in Little Falls, MN. A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, MN on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 10:30AM with visitation beginning at 9:00AM at the church. Interment will be at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery.

Irene was born on April 24, 1926 in Bowlus, MN to Leo and Ruth (Gosiak) Zehowski. She married Wilfred Dobis on September 17, 1946 in Bowlus, MN. They moved to Southwest Little Falls, MN where she lived her entire life. Irene worked at Munsingwear, and in housekeeping at St. Gabriel's Hospital for 23 years. She was a lifelong member of Christian Mothers and the VFW Auxiliary. Irene enjoyed volunteering at VFW Post #1112 and St. Gabriel's Hospital. She also loved being a member of Our Lady Of Lourdes quilting circle. Irene liked gardening, playing cards, quilting, and embroidery.

Irene is survived by her children, David (Phyllis) Dobis of Little Falls, MN, Diane (Gary) Bellefeuille of St. Cloud, MN, Susan (David) Kroon of Montgomery, TX, and Wilfred "Bill" (Vicki) Dobis of Montgomery, TX; daughter-in-law, Marlys Dobis of St. Joseph, MN; three brothers, Richard Zehowski of Little Falls, MN, Mark Zehowski of Sobieski, MN, and Jim Zehowski of Flenburg, MN; sister, Loretta Dobis of Little Falls, MN; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilfred; and son, Daniel. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall, MN.
