Irene Becker

Irene Marie Becker, 80, of Baxter, died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Excelsior Place in Baxter. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.

Irene was born October 15, 1931, in Brainerd, the daughter of Ansel and Pearl (Kruger) Isaacson. After graduating from high school, she was united in marriage to Everett Becker on June 15, 1949. Irene enjoyed many things. She liked to play card games and Bingo. She was often singing, especially to her grandchildren. She could play the piano by ear. She enjoyed decorating and traveling. She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She will be missed by her children, Cheryl (Dareld) Lombardi, of Duluth, Bruce (Kathy) Becker, of Brainerd, and Julie (Bruce) Hauck, of Brainerd; brother, Bill Isaacson, of AZ; eight grandchildren, Melody, Nicholas, Casey, Harmoni, Faith, Aaron, Joseph, and Charles; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; grandson, Vince Lombardi; and brother, Robert.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
