Howard Kropuenske

August 12, 1970 — February 15, 2012

Howard David Kropuenske, 41, died on February 15th, 2012 at home in Motley, MN surrounded by his family. A funeral will be held at 11am on Monday, February 20th at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church at 1512 8th Street NE in Staples. A visitation will be held from 3pm-6pm on Sunday, February 19th at Brenny Funeral Chapel at 309 4th Street NE, in Staples, and one hour prior to the service, at the church. Burial will be at the Motley Public Cemetery.

Howard was born on August 12th 1970 in Bagley, MN, to Howard and Julia (Anderson) Kropuenske and was a 1988 Staples High School Graduate.
Howard loved his family and friends dearly. He loved his Lord and church, Motley Free Methodist, which he attended regularly. His favorite pasttime was dirt track racing, which he had participated in, in one form or another his whole life. He was a proud employee of Anderson Brothers Construction of Brainerd, MN.
His greatest attributes and talents were singing, racing, hard work, and making people laugh. These were exceeded by his relationships with his devoted wife and the rest of his family and his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Howard is survived by his wife, Shelby (Brownell), his children Whitney and Brodey, his step-children Tyler and Ellie Colsen, his parents Howard and Julie Kropuenske, brothers John (Sara) and Alex (Doreen), all of Motley and sister Jill (Ron) Wasson of Crosby, MN; brothers Robert (Janet) Alderink of Wendell, NC; James (Patricia) Alderink of San Diego, CA and sisters Paula (Doug) Roberts of San Diego, CA and Pamela (Steve Weibe) Alderink of Fridley, MN, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Howard is preceeded in death by his grandparents, Otto and Ella (Bendert) Kropuenske and John and Gladys (Dack) Anderson.
