Howard Johnson

Howard Ray Johnson, age 80, of Backus died Thursday, March 8, 2007 at North Ridge Nursing Home in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 13, at 11 am, at First Lutheran Church in Pine River, with Reverend Bob Twiton officiating. Friends may visit Monday, March 12, from 6-8 pm at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes, with Masonic services at 7:30 pm. Interment will be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Camp Ripley. Memorials are preferred to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
Howard is survived by Dorothy, his wife of nearly 60 years; his children, Lou Ann (Martin) Bouley, of Elk River, Norine (Randy) Henke, of Prior Lake, and Robert Johnson, of Pequot Lakes; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Olive (Simmons) Johnson; and three siblings, Donald and Lloyd Johnson and Lorraine Wallace. Services entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Pequot Lakes.
