Howard Hemsworth

Howard Leroy Hemsworth, age 85, of Pine River, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011. He was born to Claude and Clara Hemsworth in Minneapolis on July 17, 1925. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, woodworking and time spent with his family. He will be best remembered for his practical jokes and sense of humor.

He is survived by his children: Gloria (Dan) Nesenson of East Bethel, Gayle (Scott) Goetze of Pine City, Kenneth (Lucie) Hemsworth of Hugo and Cheryl (Ben) Rainwater of Pine River; nine grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eldora, son, Howard "Butch" Jr. and great grandson, Matthew Holmin.

Memorial services will be 2 PM on Wednesday, July 13, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, with Pastor Bonnie Lomen officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service.
