Homer Beavers

Homer Francis Beavers, 89, of Crosslake died on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at his home. Private Family Services.

Homer was born on March 14, 1922 to Samuel and Livna Goldsberry in Mission Township. He served in the US Navy. After his return, he worked at a sawmill in Mt. June, Oregon and later at Allan's Turkey Farm in Crosslake. Homer then went on to work on the highway crew along Highway 3, Co Road 11 and Co Road 18. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, taking walks, and watching the wildlife.

Homer is survived by several nieces and nephews living in the area. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Livna.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake.
