Holly Welch

Holly A. Welch, 70, of Fort Ripley died on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at St. Benedicts Rehabilitation Center in St. Cloud, MN. Services will be held Friday, April 26, 2013 at 3:00PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN with visitation at 2:00 PM. A reception will immediately follow services in the Brenny Reception Room.

Holly was born on June 19, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN to Albert and Lu (Stone) Hagstrom. She graduated from Hopkins High School. Holly married Robert Welch in St. Louis Park, MN on June 1, 1963. She and Robert lived in Watertown, MN before moving to the Brainerd Lakes Area in 1990. Holly loved anything to do with horses and dogs she especially loved colts. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening. Holly loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren.

Holly will be missed by her husband, Robert; sons, Scott (Kathy) Welch and Mike (Jessie) Welch; brother, Fred (S) Hagstrom; and 5 grandchildren; Tanner, Colby, Hannah, Hailey and Bryce. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lynn.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
