Helen Peterson

Helen Peterson, age 84, of Pine River, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at the Good Samaritan Society, Pine River.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Thure Peterson (1994), and her parents, Victor and Frances Boquist.

Helen is survived by her son, Robert Peterson; daughter, Charlotte Heino (Joe); grandson, Kelly Heino (Maddie); sisters: Ethel Stimson (Carroll), Vivian Kjeldahl (Lester), Gladys Boquist; brother, Don Boquist (Gloria); nieces and nephews.

Helen was born December 3, 1931, in Bungo Township, attended Bark School and later Pine River Schools. She married Thure in 1950 and raised their two children on the farm until 1961 when they moved to Pine River. Helen attended Riverview Church where she helped with Sunday school. She enjoyed sewing, needlework and her pets. After years of health problems she is now at peace with her Lord and Savior.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 26, from noon until 2 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, followed by a family graveside service at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River.
