Helen Donovan

Helen Lorraine Donovan, 87, of Pequot Lakes, died on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, MN, surrounded by loved ones. There will be a private gathering with friends and loved ones held at a later date.

Helen was born on May 3, 1926 in Sioux City, Iowa to John Benjamin and Mary Alvina (Schoennoehl) Chester. Helen operated Upper Hay Hideaway until 1989. She enjoyed fishing and football.

Helen is survived by special friend, Ina Schwarte; good friends, Kris and Larry Hochmayr; neighbor, Karen Bowman and her son, Jamie; and everyone who loved her.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes, MN.
