Harvey Kottschade

Harvey L. Kottschade, age 83, of Bemidji, formerly of Pequot Lakes, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014, at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. He was born to Louis and Vernie (Maine) Kottschade on March 8, 1931, in Meadow Brook Township, Cass County, Minnesota. Harvey was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1951 1955. Harvey had farmed in the area most all of his life.

Harvey is survived by his son, Louis Gross (Debra); three grandchildren, Amber Dedilzen, Ashlee and Jordan Gross; siblings, Sarah Wermter, Donna Rivard, Nora Jabas, Doris Campbell, Cecil, Myron and Robert Kottschade.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Leona Kottschade, Basil Kottschade, Grace Decamp, June Mapes, and Milton Kottschade.

Services will be 11 AM on Friday, August 15, at Pleasant Hill Community Church, rural Pequot Lakes. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, rural Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
