Harriet Riley

Harriet Cecilia Riley, 91, of Pine River, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2008, at her home. She was born in Redwood Falls on March 3, 1917, to Cecilia and Thomas Riley and moved as a young child with her family to Pine River. After high school she went on to Normal Training and taught for one year in Tobique. She retired from the Federal Government after working in Washington, DC and Fort Snelling.

Harriet is survived by her sister, Mary Switajewski; nieces; nephews; great and great-great-nieces and nephews; friends; and faithful cat, Meg.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers - Lloyd, James, John and William.

Services will be 11 AM on Monday, September 15 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pine River. Burial at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River. Visitation Sunday, September 14, 5-7 PM (7 PM Rosary) at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and one hour prior to services at the church.
