Harold Thorvig

Harold W. Thorvig, age 95, of Longville, passed away March 5, 2008. Harold was a long time member of IBEW Union 110 in St. Paul where he worked for Hoffmann Electric for over 30 years. Harold and Rose retired to their lake home in Longville, MN, in 1978, where they enjoyed the solitude, fishing, family and friends. Harold kept active doing odds and ends around the house up until a few months ago when his health started to fail. Harold will be missed by everyone he has left behind.
He is survived by sister, Evelyn Conlin; son, Peter (Lynette), granddaughters: Kristen, Laura, Jennifer; daughter, Susan Pace (John); grandson, Eric Vacha; and special four-legged companion, Holly (his fourth granddaughter).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Hannah Thorvig, and wife, Rose.
Memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 15 at Salem Lutheran Church, Longville.
