Harold Rudlang Sr.

Harold "Sonny" Rudlang Sr., age 78, of Pequot Lakes, passed away Wednesday, January 28 at home. He was born October 5, 1936 in Pine River, MN to Henry and Tillie (Halvorson) Rudlang. Harold married Carol Hartwig on April 6, 1963. Sonny was a milk hauler for several years. He operated Maple Sanitary Landfill until it closed. Sonny graded roads for several townships, farmed and did excavating work until he retired. He enjoyed his grandkids and great grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; children: Barbara (Dan), Sandy, Harold ‘Boy" Jr., Dale and Dean; brothers: Dick (Barbara) and Kenneth (Betty); sisters: Catherine Feakes, Clarice Tulenchik and Carol Kalis; grandchildren: Becky Lavoie, Ashly Rudlang, Jennifer Halverson, Mindy Rudlang and Luke Rudlang; great grandchildren: Bailey, Kyleena, Charlee and Juliana.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Amanda Goerlich.

Services will be 11 AM on Monday, February 2, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Pequot Lakes. Burial will follow at Gloria Dei Stoney Brook Cemetery, rural Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Pequot Lakes, and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
