Harold Peterson

Harold Peterson, 80, of Pequot Lakes, MN died Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at his home. Graveside services for Harold will be on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 2:00PM at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.

Harold was born October 17, 1935 in Minneapolis, MN to Ernest and Stella (Lundby) Peterson. After he completed high school, Harold entered the US Navy. Following his Honorable Discharge, he married Jeanne LaBarre on November 8, 1966 in St. Paul, MN. Harold worked in sales and marketing most of his professional career. He moved to the Fifty Lakes Area in 1982, and then moved to Pequot Lakes where he's been a resident until his death. Harold enjoyed golfing, traveling, building model boats and ships, camping, snowmobiling, fishing and bowling.

Harold is survived by his children, Jennifer (Gerry) Klocke of Askov, MN, Brian (Liza) Peterson of Fredericksburg, VA, Brett (Jennifer) Peterson of Sauk Rapids, MN, Brandon (Michelle) Peterson of Fifty Lakes, MN, Stacey (Dave) Sexton of Roswell, NM, Becky Peterson of Fifty Lakes, MN, Cole (Tanya) Peterson of Shertz, TX; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Stella; daughter, Lisa; sister, Kathy. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes, MN.
