Harold Hansen, 61, of Brainerd, died Friday, June 22, 2007 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Funeral Services for Harold are scheduled for 2 PM, Monday, June 25, 2007 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with Reverend Bob Twiton officiating. There will be a gathering one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association.
Harold was born November 22, 1945 in Laverne, MN, the son of Harold and Elizabeth (Williams) Hansen. At a very young age, the family moved to Russell, MN where Harold attended school graduating from Russell High School. At 17, he enlisted in the US Navy serving in Vietnam. Upon his discharge, he moved to the Twin Cities Metro area. He attended Granite Falls Vocational School. In 1978, he was united in marriage to Patricia Poss in Avoca, MN. In 1990, the family moved to the Brainerd Lakes Area and he began working as a truck driver for MultiLoad Trucking out of Rice. Harold was a member of the Russell American Legion, Post # 460. He enjoyed all sports  but especially softball, bowling and fishing.

Harold will be missed by his wife of 29 years, Pat; his children, Erin (Jason) Hardison, of San Marcos, CA and Brynn Haglin, of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Austin and Keaton Haglin; his sisters, Ruth Goetz, of Selby, SD, Charlene Sand, of Greenfield, and Connie Hale, of Rapid City, SD; and his brother, Rick Hansen, of Marshall. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
