Gregory Allen Roberge was born August 26, 1947 in Eau Claire, WI, to Kenneth and Helen (Anderson) Roberge. He grew up and graduated high school in Eau Claire. He was united in marriage to Connie Gorton in Eau Claire on October 8, 1966. The couple moved to Minneapolis for a time, where Gregory did computer work. They owned and operated the Melody Shores Resort on the Whitefish Chain from 1986-1990. They returned to Minneapolis, where Gregory worked as computer operation manager for M and I Bank for ten years. Last October they moved to Aitkin, where they purchased the Big K Campground. Gregory was a devoted family man, and very much enjoyed his grandchildren. A congenial man who would do anything to help others, Gregory was liked by all who met him. He enjoyed woodworking and building things. He and Connie had belonged to a five-piece band that made a record years back, and he continued to appreciate music.

Gregory is survived by Connie, his wife of almost 38 years; sons Brian (Sharon) Roberge, of Lake Elmo, and Richard Roberge, of St. Paul; grandchildren Brian, Jr., Sarah, Austin, and Allison Roberge; and siblings Ronald (Ruth) Roberge, of Eau Claire, WI, and Jeanine (John) Arnsdorf, of Folsom, CA. His parents preceded him in death.
