Grace Midlo

Grace K. Midlo, 91, of Baxter died peacefully on January 27, 2010 at Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd, Minnesota. A Memorial Service for Grace will be held at a later date.
Grace was born on October 25, 1918 to Willard and Barbara (Fraser) Bruner in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Grace worked for the Department of Agriculture until retiring in 1966. Grace and her husband, Raymond were married for 49 years. They moved from New Hope to Crosslake in 1987, where they were residents until moving to Excelsior Place in Baxter in 2008.

Grace enjoyed bird watching, gardening and tending to her flowers. She also loved her lake home and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Grace will be sadly missed by her husband, Raymond; children, Jack (Char) Stemper, Sallee (Jim) Birkelo and Larry (Judy) Stemper; seven grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Floyd Stemper, sisters; Agnes Landon and Barbara Berg.
