Gloria Olson

Gloria Dawn Olson, 78, of Pequot Lakes died on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Heritage House. Services for Gloria will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes, MN with a luncheon following at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes, MN. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes, MN from 5:00-7:00 PM and one hour prior to services on Saturday. Interment will be at Pequot Lakes City Cemetery.

Gloria was born on July 28, 1934 in Groton, South Dakota to Lenard and Marie (Lange) Lenling. She attended school in Watertown, SD. Gloria married Robert Olson on October 29, 1951 in Sioux Falls, SD. She was a stay home mom and was very active in the church and church choir. Gloria was also a member of the Geritol Frolics and Heartland Squares. She enjoyed bowling, square dancing, singing and caring for her gardens.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Robert Olson Jr, Sandra (Jim) Bach, Kenneth (Nathan) Olson, and Penny (Dan) Walters; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Kate) Bach, Jon Bach, Christopher Bach, Robert Olson III, Meghan (Jake) Phillips, and Matthew Walters; three great-grandchildren, Clara Phillips, Marcus Bach, and Logan Bach; siblings, Linda LasKowski, Jim Lenling, Lester Lange, Sue Streibel, Stan Lange, and Steve Lange. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lenard and Marie; siblings, Clifford Lenling, Mike Lange, and Marty Lange.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes, MN.
