Gloria Arnold (Odegard)

Gloria Lynn Arnold (Odegard), age 72, of Prescott Valley, AZ, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 12, 2023. Born to Obed and Evelyn Odegard on December 30, 1950, Gloria was one of seven children and grew up in Pine River, MN. 

As a young woman, she adventured the Southwest ending up in Sedona, AZ. There she worked at Sedona Red Rock News for 32 years. Gloria loved Jesus, her family, music, western wear and anything teal! 

Whether it be playing country/bluegrass, oldies or gospel music, Gloria's talent and charisma lit up the room and she was often found at a piano. Gloria was a patriot, a hardworking and independent woman who had pride of ownership, and a strong attention to detail. 

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sandra Bristow. Gloria is survived by her 5 siblings, 3 children: Rick Eckerson (Nicole), Lori Stewart (Jim Snyder) and Corina Taylor (Kelly); 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons, and numerous other family members. 

An intimate Celebration of Life will be held for family and close friends on Tuesday, November 21 at 1pm at Riverview Church in Pine River, MN. Refreshments will be served. Gloria’s final resting place will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River. In honor of her please read Romans 8.
