Geroline Eisel

Geroline Tresa (Gerri) Eisel, age 73 ½, of Staples, MN, passed away peacefully at the Clarissa Nursing Home on November 4, 2009, from Lung Cancer. A memorial and burial service will be at St. Marys Cemetery, Little Falls, MN on Monday, November 16, 2009 at 2:00PM.

Gerri was born February 19, 1936 to her father, Joseph Patrick Eisel and mother, Mary Lou (Knowlton) Eisel Girtz in Grand Rapids, MN. She married Howard L. Stone and had 5 children. After Howards passing she married Eldon Goodson and they had 4 children.

Gerri is survived by her children, Howard L. Stone, Jr (Janet), Apache Junction, AZ, Jenny (Aroda) Greiger, Fargo, ND, Amy Stone, Josephine Stone, Helen Elisabeth Stone, Mark Goodson Vicorey, Oldham, SD, Wendy Caroline Stocleton (George), Raleigh, Mississippi, Kelly Collene Webb, Belton, SC, and Daniel Goodson Vicorey, Jamestown, ND; brothers, John (Delores) Eisel, Springfield, OR, Donald (Betty) Eisel, Springfield, OR, Robert (Dorothy) Eisel, Donnelly, MN, and Gene (Diana) Eisel, Motley, MN; Life companion, Herman Heifort; numerous grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by her father, Joseph; mother, Mary; sister, Margret; husbands Howard, Eldon.

Gerri loved her family, fishing, knitting, sewing, flowers, cooking, playing cards, Yahtzee and gardening.

Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society, Midwest Division
