Geraldyne "Gerry" K. Wilson, 77, of Pillager died, following a long-fought battle with lung disease, on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at White Pines Care Center in Blaine, MN. Funeral Services for Gerry will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM at First Lutheran Church in Pillager, MN with Pastor Hector Merced officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 5:00-7:00PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment at Wildwood Cemetery in Pillager, MN.
Gerry was born on April 12, 1935 to Oscar and Katie Erickson. She married Herb Wilson on July 3, 1954. Herb and Gerry lived in the Anoka area until 1985 when they moved to the Pillager area. Gerry sold Avon and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Pillager Lions. They wintered in Apache Junction, AZ. She loved to sing karoke and dance. Gerry also enjoyed garage sales and visiting with friends and family.
She is survived by her children, Deb (Doug) of Coon Rapids, MN, Steve (Wendi)of Ham Lake, MN, Teri (Sunday) of Blaine, MN and Wendy (Brian) of Coon Rapids, MN; grandchildren, Doug Jr., Stephanie, Nicholle, Brittany, Tasha, Kara, Erika, and Zach; and great-grandchildren, Chayse, Brooklyn, Adam, Jeremiah, and Aurora. Gerry was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Katie; husband, Herb; brother, Wally; and sisters, Darlene and Elaine.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
