Gerald 'Nonnie' Frank

Gerald ‘Nonnie’ Frank, age 88, passed away on May 6, 2022 at Bethany Good Samaritan-Woodland in Brainerd, MN. There are no services planned at this time.

Gerald was born on May 24, 1933 in Minneapolis, MN to Ervin and Lucille (Platt) Frank. After graduating high school, he went on to pursue law enforcement. He started his career in Minneapolis, and retired as the Chief of Police in Breezy Point, MN. He was married to Joyce, and together they raised three children.

Nonnie enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, spending time with family, and he loved having barbeques with his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.

He is survived by his significant other, Gina Nelson, his son John (Gail) Frank, his daughter Nancy (Ronald) Hines, his loving grandkids and great grandkids.

Gerald is preceded in death by his son Dana, his wife Joyce, and his parents.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
