Geraldine Nelson

Geraldine “Gerry” Nelson, 89, passed away on February 1, 2022, in Minnetonka, MN. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 12pm at the Brenny Family funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.

Gerry was born on January 27, 1933, in Wadena County to George and Nora (Engen) Nelson. Gerry lived in New Hope, MN until she passed away from cancer.

Gerry is survived by one sister, Penny Veilleux, of Minnetonka; one sister-in-law, Vernone Nelson, of Hoyt Lakes, MN; one brother-in-law, Marvin Greenwaldt, of Maple Grove, MN; and 12 wonderful nieces and nephews. Gerry was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters, one niece, and one nephew.
