Geraldine Ebertowski

Geraldine M. Ebertowski, 73, of Pillager died on Monday, September 12, 2011 at St. Cloud Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Steve LaFlamme officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be held at the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery in Little Falls on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 9:30 AM.

Geraldine was born on May 25, 1938 in Harding, Minnesota to Barney and Frances (Brisk) Stegora. She married Alex Ebertowski on April 27, 1957 at the Holy Cross Church in Harding, Minnesota. Geraldine worked for Pamida for eleven years before working for Target since 1999. She was a lifetime member of VFW Auxiliary #1647 where she served as auxiliary president six times. She also served as VFW 6th District President from 1992-1993. Geraldine was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #225 and the VFW Ladies Color Guard.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Frances; and one sister, Sharon Drake. She will be lovingly missed by her husband, Alex; sons, Al (Marcey), Ken (Tammy), and Scott (Tina) all of Pillager; grandsons, Nate and Justin; and a great grand-daughter, Alexandria.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
