Gerald Hoskins

Gerald C. Hoskins, 79, died Friday, August 30th at Good Samaritan Society – Woodlands.  Gerald’s Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, September 5th at Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter, MN, with visitation for two hours prior to the service.  Burial will be next to his wife at the Baxter City Cemetery, Baxter, MN.

Jerry was the youngest of ten siblings on the family farm in Hillman, MN. Jerry married Lois Marie Gross on April 3, 1961. Jerry worked for Crow Wing Power for 39 years and retired in 1996.

Preceding in death are his wife, Lois (Gross) Hoskins; parents, Clarence and Jessie; brothers, Vernon, Lyle, Howard, Allen, Bob; and sisters, Helen Chistianson and Margie Johnson.

Surviving are wife, Charlotte Fritz; sons, Craig (Mary) Hoskins, Todd (Bridgette) Hoskins; a brother, Alfred; sister, Ester Fritz and their families.

Jerry was a wonderful dad and great Papa and enjoyed restoring cars and belonged to the car club “The Tinners” and showed several cars at our local car shows. We miss him terribly.
