Gerald Czech

Gerald Czech, 68, of Brainerd, passed away on April 19, 2025, with his family by his side.

Gerald was born on March 8, 1957, to George and Christine (Auer) Czech in Little Falls, Minnesota. He married Natalie Duscher on August 31, 1996. He was a plumber for many years.

Gerald enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was always around a bonfire enjoying Natty Lights or EJ Brandy. He listened to country music, especially 98.1 on Sundays.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Natalie; children, Christina and Ryan Buttenhoff, Kate Houle, Faith Czech, Jason Forcier (Amanda), Melissa Forcier (Michael), Brian Forcier; grandchildren, Paige (Michael) Davis, Georgia and Cooper Buttenhoff, Josh (McKayla) Houle, Zack (Kenzie) Houle, Kali and Mason Lindstrom; great grandchildren, Murphy, Lila, Timothy, Sawyer, and one on the way; siblings, Betty Sherry, Pat Boser, Rosie (Jim) Solorz; sister-in-laws, Lavon Czech, Kathy Hoskins (Randy); brother-in-law, Donald Duscher (Holly); and special companion, Fester. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Sr. and Christine Czech; brothers, Richard and George; son-in-law Timothy Houle; sister-in-law Nancy Hart; brother-in-laws, Charlie Duscher, Donald Duscher, Kenny Boser, Jack Filsmyer, Duane Sherry; and mother-in-law Shirley Grey.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. More details to come.
