Gerald Christianson

Gerald D. Christianson, 88, of Brainerd died at Harmony House in Brainerd, MN on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Services are pending at this time.

Gerald was born on July 20, 1928 in Pulaski Township (Hillman), MN to the late Ole and Merry Alice (Cook) Christianson. Gerald was united into marriage on May 1, 1989 to Mary Bunnell at Lakeview Community Church in Hillman, MN. He worked for Minnegasco for 35 years. They lived on Peavy Lake for 25 years before moving to Brainerd, MN. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Ivan “Terry” Christianson and Michael Christianson; and one sister, Peggy Huntington. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, and three brothers. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
