George Cameron

George Cameron, age 92, of Pine River, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013, at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Brainerd. He was born to Edward and Amelia Cameron on February 25, 1921, in Marquette, MI. George served in the U.S. Army Air Force and was a member of the Jenkins VFW.

George is survived by his wife, Shirley; children: Sharon Hueffmeier (Al), Sandra Green (Warren), Barry Cameron, Steven Cameron, Debra Olson (Mike); stepchildren: Tony Lamusga, Sharon Alpers, Barbara Wood (Steve); 21 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Georgia Jacobs; sister, Ellen Savola; and brother, Arthur Cameron.

Services will be 11 AM on Monday, March 4, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Burial will follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 7 PM, and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
