Genevieve ?Mickey? Ann Stoehr, age 71, of Breezy Point, died Thursday, April 1, 2004 at her home. Mickey Stoehr was born on February 25, 1933 in St. Paul to Charles and Martha (Pasket) Brennhofer. She graduated from Washington High School in St. Paul in 1950. She was united in marriage to Richard Stoehr Sr. on October 14, 1950 at St. Bernard?s Catholic Church in St. Paul. She was a ?great? mother, and grandmother and great-grandmother, homemaker and care giver. She was president of the Calix Society and staff secretary in St. Paul. They moved to Breezy Point in 1985 where she has been a resident until her death. She was a member of St. Alice?s Catholic Church in Pequot Lakes, president of the Pelican Lake Conservation Club, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Pequot Lakes American Legion and St. Alice?s Ladies Guild.
Mickey is survived by her husband, Richard Sr; children, Richard G. Stoehr, Jr (Donna) of Las Vegas, NV, Roxanne L. Guerra (Robert) of Tavernier, FL, Susanne M. Hitzemann (Arlon) of Blaine, LeeAnne L. Olstad of Backus, Michelle A. Stoehr of Breezy Point, Sean P. Stoehr of Pequot Lakes; 1 brother Charles Brennhofer of Pine River; 9 grand children; Alicia, Heather, Dax, Natasha, Rick Jr, Joshua, Adam, Richard, Meghan. Four great-grandchildren; Cadien, Allison, Katie, Lairen. She was preceded in death by her daughter JoAnne, parents and her sister Geraldine P. Peterson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at St. Alice Catholic Church in Pequot Lakes with Father George Zeck officiating. Burial will be held in the Pelican Woods Cemetery.
Services have been entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
