Gayle Shackle

On July 15, 2011, the world lost an amazing woman, mother and
friend. Gayle Irene Shackle (Jarman) was born on Aug. 14,1951, to Meredith
"Dusty" Jarman and Dorothy (Kosse) Jarman. On March 19, 1983, Gayle married her best friend and confidant, Elroy Shackle. They were blessed with two amazing young men as sons. Zane Joseph Shackle was born on Oct. 18, 1983, and Cody James Shackle was born on March 12, 1985. In 1998, she welcomed
Elroy�s daughter, Asija, into her life and soon made Asija one of her own. Gayle was undoubtedly a traditional woman in modern times. On any given day, her family was her priority, her pride, and her joy. Gayle was a proud wife, grandmother, sister, auntie and mother, to her own children as well as countless others. Everyone who met Gayle encountered a woman of endless caring and kindness. Gayle did not hold back in life, but lived with a smile, looked for the bright side of things and made jokes even through the darker days. She hugged often and loved everyone in her life without
limits. For those of us who were lucky enough to be a part of her life and share in her joys and love, we are all better people and were blessed to have such a beacon of goodness, light and love in our lives. Here's to our
angel, Gayle Shackle, who will forever be in our minds and always in our hearts!

Along with her husband and sons, Gayle leaves behind brothers, Garry, of Seattle, Dean, of Georgia; sister, Lynne Parker, of St. Michael, MN; and grandchildren, Karese, Layla, Mikael, Kelsy and Amaiya.

A memorial service will be held at the Pine River Baptist Church at 1 PM on Saturday, July 23, 2011.
