Gary Schmelzer

Gary Lee Schmelzer, age 58, of Longville, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008. He was born June 13, 1950, in Freeport, IL, to LeRoy and Shirley Schmelzer.
Gary lived and worked most of his life in the Longville and Walker areas. He loved the outdoors, drawing, writing poetry and stories, and playing harmonica.
He is survived by his children: Brianna Washburn of Minneapolis, Trinity Lee Schmelzer and Britani Schmelzer, both of Pine River; sister, Julie Williams of Longville; and grandson, Ira.
Services will be 11 AM on Monday, November 3 at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, with Pastor Bill Payne officiating. Burial will follow in Wabedo Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
