Rosita Gail Cronk, 69, of Pine River, passed away on 7 Nov. 2007. She was born Rosita Korby in Bumbletown, Michigan on 7 September 1938. She was preceded in death by her father Russell Korby and mother Lydia Korby of Allouez, Michigan. She was survived by her husband Ken Cronk, brother Russell Korby, sons Mark Englund, Randall Cronk (Geraldine), Reid Cronk (Joyce), and daughters Rachel Walker (Andy), Diane Schmitz (Dan), Kathy Moe (Eric), Lisa Jundt (Glen), Kenda Wheeler (Brian), 21 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. A college graduate, She worked mostly in the automotive administration business and many years in the newspaper field in Perham, Two Harbors, and Pine River. She loved the outdoors, was an avid hunter among other activities, also a 26 year member of Post 613 American Legion Auxiliary. Due to family military commitments, she wished to be cremated with memorial following immediately. Her ashes will be cast to the wind in the woods at a later date. She had many friends and considered them all as part of her family. A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, 11 November 2007 with many of her Family and Friends attending.
