Frederick Gundlach

Frederick Wayne Gundlach, 74, of Crosslake died on Monday, July 18, 2011 at his home. Funeral services for Fred will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 12:00 PM with visitation from 10:00-12:00 at Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Crosslake. Interment will be the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery in Little Falls with full military honors.

Fred was born on January 11, 1937 in Anoka, MN to Earl and Grace (Clark) Gundlach.
Fred enjoyed arts and crafts, playing guitar, camping, woodworking, fishing,, and golfing.
He was also a member of the Crosslake American Legion, Gopher Gunners, Field Artillery Association, Retired Officers Association, Officers National Guard Association, and the Enlisted National Guard Association.

Fred is survived by his wife, Mary of Crosslake; children, Linda (Jim) Hunt of Kettle River, MN, Michael (Liz) Gundlach of Anoka, MN, Launette (Tom) Figliuzzi of Moorhead, MN, Lisa (Aaron) Hansen of Esko, MN and Karen (Ron Garnet Jr.) Gundlach, of Minneapolis, MN; step-children, Kay (Don) Kingkade of Fairbanks, AK, Lori (Tom) Leither of St. Cloud, MN, Terese (Mark) Sundquist of St. Cloud, MN, and Craig (Jenny) Brummer of St. Cloud, MN; eleven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Kathleen Goodspeed.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake.
