Fred Schnick

Fred B. Schnick, 71, of Nisswa, MN passed away at Harmony House in Brainerd, MN on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Service for Fred will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 12:00PM at The Church On The Wise Road with Pastor Todd Stumbo officiating. Visitation one hour prior to services at the church.

Fred was born on January 1, 1947 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to Howard and Dorothy (Jennings) Schnick. Fred married Sandie Holisky in St. Paul, MN on June 22, 1973. He was a member of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association. Fred loved hunting, fishing, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

Fred is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sandie; children, Toni (Todd) Volkmeier of Woodbury, MN, Gary Stevens of Mendota Heights, MN, Jamie (Emily) Schnick of Rosemount, MN; and his grandchildren, Samantha Volkmeier, Eric Volkmeier, Cyrus Stevens, Anna Schnick, and Lily Schnick. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Dorothy; and brother, Gordon. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
