Franklin Benjamin Thielen, Jr. age 71, of Lake Alexander, formerly of Maple Grove, MN died peacefully in his sleep at his home Wednesday morning, February 27, 2008. Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Lincoln Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Brian Burton officiating. Family will receive friends Friday February 29 from 5-7 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall. Interment will be in the Scandia Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Home of Randall.
Frank was born August 13, 1936 in Minneapolis, MN. He was united in marriage to Martha Cameron on November 7, 1953 at Zion Lutheran Church in Crown, MN. He worked at Red Owl for 37 years as a supervisor of the cabinet shop and maintenance department.
He is survived by his wife Martha; children, Michael (Jeanne) Thielen, Cheryl (Steven) Swanson, Timm (Alyce) Thielen; grandsons Mark and Matthew Thielen and granddaughters Tami Anderson and Rachel Goebel, 1 great grandchild Sarah Goebel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Phyllis Reimann, and brother Richard ButchThielen.
