Family and friends are invited to gather Tuesday at the church starting at 12:30 PM. Interment will take place the Christ Lutheran Church Columbarium.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Dorothyann, brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Marilyn, three children, Jacquelyn Weise and son-in-law, Walter Jr., Susan Pagel and son-in-law, Robert, David and daughter-in-law, Lori, seven grandchildren and 3, soon to be 4 great-grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by two sisters, his father and mother.

Frank was born on August 31, 1930 to John and Eleanor Ubel in New Ulm, MN. As an infant he became a child of God on September 21, 1930 at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, New Ulm, MN on April 2, 1944, after instruction in the truths of God's Word, he was confirmed in the Lutheran faith. For the last 28 years, he was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Baxter, MN.

On September 29, 1951 Frank was united in marriage to Dorothyann Moll. They lived in New Ulm as newlyweds, moved to St. Peter, MN and then on to Bloomington. After retirement, they moved to a lake home in the Brainerd Lakes area, later moving into Baxter.

Frank always felt it was important for his family to live in a place where they could worship and be fed weekly in the truths of God's Word. So, before a family move was planned, search was first made for a Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Church in the area. Christian education for his children was also of great value to him.

Frank was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone Company and retired after 33 years. Throughout his life, he was actively involved in helping out at his children's schools in many service projects, as well as at his churches where he served through many council positions. More recently, he was on the building committee when his church, Christ Lutheran, was being built, putting in many hours on a ladder or with a paint brush.

Memorials can be made to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Baxter, MN.
