Frank Remington

Frank Remington, age 79, of Backus, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2011, at his home. He was born to Paul and Kathryn Remington on November 11, 1931, in Bismarck, ND. Frank served in the US Army during the Korean War. He married Catherine Kozowicz on November 20, 1954, in Palatine, IL. He worked as a mechanic in the automotive industry for 45 years. In 1994, he realized his dream of retiring to Minnesota where he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Frank is survived by his wife, Catherine; children: Cassandra, Karl (Claudette), Robert (Renata), David; grandchilderen: Christopher, Daniel (Sarah), Joseph, Sarah, Benjamin; brother, Kenneth; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Calvin, and sister, Diana.

Private family services will be held.
